Malaysia And Ottoman Empire, Ape kaitannya?

                Two continents separate by thousand miles of sea and land. Ottoman empire had more than 100 million of population and Malysia had merely 25 million of people. Islam is the main principle of both lovely country.  Lets go back to history class-  Ottoman empire fall in 1920's and led by Kamal Attartuk to change the whole system in the name of liberal(straight forward we-could see) to industriliast and modernized the nation. Everyone would love it(even turks). He succeed widely within 30 years of the newly Turkey.(ive make a research, depends on u if u want to believe it)

                 In diplomatic relation, Turkey ideology is mainly from the Allies system( Mainly British). Ranging from the law, economy, liberal, money making and even beer. Lets think, Kamal  Attartuk is a nice and polite guy,in WW1 he led a big army to defend the Istanbul to prevent the fall of ottoman empire  in a forth night. Ottoman empire are already weaken by the huge land with huge expenses on that time. Then, he succeed defending the Istanbul and became a very famous person throughout the Empire. He is not a religious sense of Person, He drinks quite a lot( be open minded with all the points).Someone said that he is a spy trained since small till become a general.(ive make a research, depends on u if u want to believe it)

             AFter the WW1, he changed the Ottoman Empire into a parliament based country(known as Diplomacy), by that, he make tonnes of modernizing the country and changed a lot of system which seen by  him obsolete and useless such as banned the HIjab, changed the Azan from arabic into  Turks. IS HE A GUD GUY?(ive make a research, depends on u if u want to believe it)

           Lets see in Malaysia,  I saw the current Government as THE OLD OTTOMAN EMPIRE waiting to fall within a few years from now.  When a system is obsolete , people are interested to changed and make it better. With the Opposition make a lot of points in CLEARING all the corrupted people, modernized country, new law. (Recently MCA make a statement that PAS must abondened the intention of making Islamic country if they would like to enter BN). DAP is also publicly against the Banned of Alcohol and betting in Kelantan even though they ve agree not to interrupt the states new law. I saw PAS is weaker in voicing their new opinion if the new government is established. Since that, the real hope of creating new Islamic country would be far diminished had ever we thought before this.( i love new idea and love to make it better)
Haw far it would be in Future of Malaysia

             Had you ever though, if our neighbour Indonesia was in war with the Vietnam, in the new coalition goverment, could we sent huge army in the name of Islam to protect our neighbour?  Maybe not ,100% not because the parliament wouldn't let it be because the number of voting will surely loss. Non muslim are not agreed with the Islamic Country.

           What should we do then? I try to think in every angle and aspect. Islam love a new way of thinking and new IDEA to prosper to grow of Knowledge .Discuss in the name of Islam and open Minded.

           Dont blame people cause we are youth. weve the power to changed.

  1. Errr. Lots of grammatical errors... But I can still understand.

    "AFter the WW1, he changed the Ottoman Empire into a parliament based country(known as Diplomacy)"

    It's DEMOCRACY, not DIPLOMACY. :)

    ~~~
    Let's give an analogy. Which is better?
    "A Muslim who had never seen alcohol in his/her whole life?" OR "A Muslim who was exposed to people drinking alcohol but chooses not to drink it?"
    Of course, to me, the latter is better than the former. But I'm not going to talk more, because I know how butthurt some Muslims can be. Dan mereka yang butthurt tahap dewa akan menjerit-jerit "BUNUH DIA!"
  2. In my opinion, before we need to change the system, we need to change the people.. we need to give thorough understandings of the prospect of Islamic country. Most of non-Muslims do not understand what the real Islamic country is. What usually come across their mind are the banning alcohol, all women must wear scarfs, hudud, no more betting, limited freedom of choice, no to this, no that, and so on. But less of the non-Muslims appear to understand the benefit in the system, where there will be no riba', no bastards or wasted babies, the rights to express opinions, more money for the people welfare and not to the government, the stability of the system, and et cetera.
    And again, it's not understood by most of the people especially those in powers. We could see in Egypt where corrupted government were overthrew by the people. Why it takes 30 years for the people to remove the government? Because they have insufficient knowledge and awareness of the importance of politics and their rights.
    But, let's look in the context of Malaysia. The government is said to be corrupted. Opposition parties hardly remove the current government because not all people have the same idea. So, what I want to convey is the importance of having the same idea, a baseline that we should reach even if we have different opinions. DAP focused on Chinese, UMNO on Malay, PKR on Anwar, while MCA and MIC were put aside because thay have less say in government decision.
    It's not a healthy political aspect of our country because everyone want the others fall. Let's look at the history, the excellence of Nazis. Why they were so loyal to Hitler? Because they were adhered and propagated to one idea that unite them all. Let us even see how Madinah country was established. The people were fighting over each others, but once the Prophet came, everyone were attached and gave themselves in the idea of the prophet.
    We could revise any history in the world that can be exemplified in contemporary issues that no country in the world will move forward, respected, and upgraded in the presence of different sects of people who want to overthrow each other. They will fall apart.
    This is the system that the West created for every country in the world to limit the power of progression of a country. Is this what you want (love) about Kamal Attarturk? Progressive? Globalised? Liberalised?
    Na..if that's so true, why the Turk now is not that influential in UN or possess veto power? And why don't we use gold as our 'currency' as it happened before and why should we put so high value to something that initially is not valuable (US Dollar)? Not only we put a high value on it, but even some of us buy this virtual money (ie forex). Think again, we are the player or we are being played.
    That's only my opinion. Any contradict ideas, please do not throw anger on me. As I said, we all actually want the same thing, it just we have different ways of thinking and so we need to reach the baseline of the idea rather than say "You're totally wrong!".
    Wallahu A'lam.
  4. To answer Amilin's arguments regarding several issues:
    UN Security Council: Those who have veto power in UNSC are victors of the World War - UK, France, US, Soviet Union (aka Russia), and China (not sure why China is in). Since Ottoman Turkey lost WW1, Turkey - or any other country for that matter - will NEVER have veto-wielding power in UNSC. And the UN Charter (it is like a constitution) makes it difficult for this veto system to change.
    US Dollar: After WW1 and WW2, Europe's economy is destroyed. US emerged as the most stable and powerful economy after WW2, and so, people uses US dollar. For your information, gold standard was used back then (the value of paper money is tied to gold), and so, US dollar WAS valuable. I believe people still use US dollar because US economy is still strong.
    Anyway, if there's one thing that I don't like about Ottoman Empire, it is the Empire's ulamas, who (I believe) deliberately prevented scientific and technological changes, particularly from European Renaissance. For a start, you might want to read more on Hezarfen Ahmet Celebi, the first human to fly! Ottoman ulamas don't like it. Humans aren't supposed to fly. And BAM! He is persecuted.
